San Antonio Executive Elected to TMA Foundation Executive Committee

 The Texas Medical Association Foundation (TMAF) announces Craig Norman, RPh, was elected executive committee member-at-large and will serve a one-year term through May 2023.

TMAF, the philanthropic arm of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), raises funds to support the population health, quality-of-care, and science priority initiatives of the association and the family of medicine. TMAF raises funds and connects medicine, business, and community groups that carry out these programs locally and statewide. The TMA board approved Mr. Norman’s service on the Executive Committee during the April TMAF annual meeting in Houston. 

Mr. Norman, a pharmacist and senior vice president for H-E-B, is a member of several professional pharmacy organizations; and serves on the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Dean’s Advisory Council, and is currently Chairman for The American Cancer Society’s Central South Texas Area Board. He is rejoined the TMAF board in 2019 after having been a member in 2008-11.

Mr. Norman received a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy in 1983 from UMKC and has attended many executive development programs over the years including the Executive Leadership Program at Seattle University’s Albers Graduate School of Business in 2005.
He and his wife, Dana, of 36 years reside in San Antonio and have two children, Zack (28) and Holly (25).
