TMA Online Testimony

The TMA House of Delegates sets TMA policy and elects TMA leaders. All TMA members are represented in the house through their county medical societies. While only house members can vote on new TMA policy, every TMA member can have a voice in that process. All business and written testimony before the house will be reviewed by TMA reference committees. These committees will then report back to the house with their recommendations in Interim Reference Committee reports. Members will have an opportunity to testify on the interim reports during the live, in-person reference committee hearings Friday, May 9 in San Antonio.

All of the items that will be before the next House of Delegates meeting are accessible on the main House of Delegates page, under "2025 Handbook for Delegates." Add your testimony here and it will be forwarded to the reference committee.

Online testimony opens March 21 and closes April 17.

According to TMA Bylaws:

16.10 Bylaws – These Bylaws may be amended at any annual session by a majority vote of the House of Delegates after the amendment has laid on the table at least one day.

Below are links to the specific bylaws amendments as well as operating procedures put forth in the House Standing Rules. The house will vote on these rules at the opening business session on May 9.
