Physicians can now earn CME credit by listening to episodes of Texas Medical Association’s Practice Well podcast with key insights on augmented intelligence (AI).

Hear from physicians experienced with the technology – and actively transforming health care with it – as they break down the key concepts, challenges, and opportunities that AI presents in medicine. Topics covered in the CME series include training AI models, AI use in research and drug development, tool evaluation, and more.

By tuning in, physicians will:

  • Learn the evolving terminology and foundational concepts of AI in healthcare. Gain a deeper understanding of how AI can enhance decision-making, reduce administrative burdens, and support patient care.
  • Discover how AI-driven machine learning is revolutionizing clinical research. From accelerating drug discovery to optimizing clinical trials, AI is ensuring safer and more efficient drug development.
  • Gain insights into evaluating AI vendors and products. Learn how to select the right tools, avoid common pitfalls, and integrate AI into your practice smoothly.

The new CME to Go series complements a menu of new tools created by TMA’s Committee on Health Information Technology, including a member-exclusive vendor questionnaire and policies and procedures document.
